P.S.Shreedharan Pillai is an Indian politician. He is currently serving as the 15th Governor of Mizoram. He belongs to Bhartiya Janta Party. He was born on 1st December 1954 in Venmony, Alappuzha district, Kerala. His parents are Mr V.G. Sukhumaran and Mrs Bhavani Amma. In 1984, he married Mrs Reetha at Kozhikode. His wife is an Advocate. From NSS college, Pandalam, he graduated in Arts. Later in 1978, he joined Government Law College, Calicut to pursue his degree in Law.
He begins his political career during his college days. He came into politics through ABVP. He became the state secretary of ABVP in 1978. Formerly, he was the president of Kerala twice. Being a law graduate he also worked as Central Government Standing Counsel in Kerala High Court. He also served his duties as CBI special prosecutor. He is also the author of more than 100 books about different subjects in society. On October 25, 2019, he was appointed as the Governor of Mizoram.
