Shree Acharya Devvrat is the current Governor of Gujrat. He resumed as the Governor on 22 July 2019. by replacing Shree Om Prakash Kohli. He belongs to the Arya Samaj and he works as the Prachark of it. He has also served as the Principal in Kurukshetra, Haryana in Gurukul. He is also working as the ex-officio chancellor of Himachal Pradesh state universities.

Shree Acharya Dev Vrat is born in Samalkha in Punjab on January 18, 1959. His father’s name is Shree Lahiri Singh. He is graduated and masters in Hindi and history and he has also done diploma in yoga science Doctor of Naturopathy and Yogic sciences. He has an experience of 34 years in teaching and administration. He is married to Drshana Devi. He has 2 children. He received a number of rewards and awards not only from Indian Government but also the foreign government has honoured him for his work. He was also a great interest in literary writing and editing so he was also the principal editor for magazines.
