B.D. Mishra Information
Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra is retired from the Indian Army. He was commissioned on 17 December 1961 in the Madras Regiment in Infantry. He retired from the Indian Army after a career of 33 years 7 months with 2 years of the extended service from NSG. He serves now as the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh from the date 3 October 2017.

B.D Mishra Governor Arunachal Pradesh was born on July 20, 1939, in Kathauta, Distt. Sant Ravidas Nagar in Uttar Pradesh. His Father’s name is Late Pt. Jagannath Mishra and Mother’s name is Late Smt. Dhirajee Devi. He completed his high school and done his intermediate from Government Intermediate College, Gyanpur in Uttar Pradesh name Maharaja Vibhuti Narayan Government and done B.A from Kashi Naresh Gyanpur in Uttar Pradesh.Dr. Mishra Done MA from Allahabad University, M.Sc from Madras University & from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He also completed his PhD, holds an LL.B. degree from the University of Delhi.
