R.N.Ravi is an Indian politician from Bihar. He was born on 3rd April 1952 in Patna, Bihar. He married Mrs Lakshmi Ravi. He has three children, two daughters and a son. His daughter’s names are Shefali Ravi and Shamika Ravi and his son’s name is Rahul Ravi. He is currently serving as the 18th Governor of Nagaland.
In the year 2012, he retired as a special director of the Intelligence Bureau. He was also Chairman of Joint Intelligence Committee from 2014. On October 5th, 2018 he was appointed as Deputy National Security Advisor of India. On 20th July 2019, he was appointed as the Governor of Nagaland by the order of the President of India, Mr Ram Nath Kovind.
