Ganga Prasad is an Indian politician who is serving as the current Governor of the state of Sikkim. Earlier he was the Governor of Meghalaya State. He was appointed as the Governor of Sikkim on 22 August 2018 as per the latest changes made in the Governors of different states. Earlier he was appointed as governor of Meghalaya on 5 August 2017 and he was appointed by the President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind. He was replaced by Mr Tathagata Roy on 22 August 2018. He is an Indian Politician. He belongs to the Bhartiya Janta Party. He was also selected as the Member of the Bihar Legislative Council in the year 1994 and he has been the member of the same since 18 years.
