Sh. Biplab Kumar Deb is a New Chief Minister of Tripura. He became the 10th CM of Tripura. He was born on 25 November 1969 in the village Rajdhar Nagar, Gomati District, TRIPURA. He is Kayastha by Caste. He is the son of late Sh. Hirudhan Deb. His father was a local leader of JAN SANGH. He is married to Niti Deb on 17 November 2001. His wife is Deputy manager at State bank of India. He has two children. He has a son Aryan Deb and a daughter Shreya Deb.
Biplab Kumar Deb spends his childhood in Tripura. He completed his schooling from Udaipur Govt. School Tripura. He has graduated from Udaipur College. After that, he is shifted to Delhi for higher studies. He completes his masters from Delhi University. He spent 15 years in Delhi and worked as a professional GYM instructor. He is the former RSS Volunteer under K.N Govindcharya and worked for many years.
Sh. Biplap Kumar active in Politics after came back in Tripura in 2015. He joined politics and became a member of BJP and assumed the charge of Central JAN SAMPARK PRAMUKH. On 6 January 2016, he became the state president of BJP. For the elections of TRIPURA TRIBAL AREAS AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT COUNCIL, he started campaigning after became the president. The longest-serving chief of the party is replaced by Biplab Kumar in Tripura. Before moving to Tripura he worked as the party president and as an assistant of BJP’s MP Ganesh Singh.
Biplab Kumar fought and won the elections from Banamalipur Assembly Constituency in Agartala. He defeated Amol Chokroborty the youth leader of Communist Party of India. On the issue of Unemployment, he started door to door campaigning with Sunil Deodhar. During campaigning, he promised to give benefits of 7th Pay Commission to the employees or pensioner of Tripura. He became the CM of Tripura state after winning the Tripura Assembly Elections on 3 March 2018.
